Sylvester Roberts, Jr., MA

Here is a little of my story. I went to college and majored in Computer Science. That did not turn out so well so I changed my major to Psychology. After taking a break I went back to college and got my Master’s degree in Counseling. My intention was to find a good job as a counselor and be happy. I had no idea that God had other plans in mind. He was nudging me to branch out into private practice, and here I am.

God has a better plan for us. Like children we have this tendency to go our own way and we need help to get back on track. On this journey of life we go through things that can confuse and wound us. Sometimes we need people to help us to get back on the right path.

What can I do to help? My goal is to use patience, empathy and a person-centered approach in helping others. I want to assist in clearing up some of the confusion and aid in healing the wounds from life.

My passion and joy is seeing others doing well in every area of life. My other joys include being a husband, father, minister and Veteran (Army and Air National Guard). I enjoy spending time with family, watching football, playing pool and bowling.
